Drug and Alcohol Policy
The Management of Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd is committed to
providing a healthy, productive and safe workplace. The company recognises that
Alcohol and drug abuse can have adverse effects upon an individual’s ability to
perform duties safely, effectively and as a consequence can endanger themselves,
their fellow workers and the public.
Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd requires ALL employees comply with
the Alcohol and Drug Policy.
- Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd employees shall not report to
work or enter places of work if under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs.
- Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd employees shall not perform any
task whilst under the influence of Alcohol and/or drugs.
- Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd employees shall not possess,
use or consume, distribute or sell Alcohol or illicit un-prescribed drugs or
misuse prescribed medications while performing work for Sceney Electrical
Pty Ltd.
- Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd will make every effort to
provide assistance and rehabilitation to employees who have Drug and/or
Alcohol dependency in the form of reference to medical assistance or
counselling if required.
- Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd will require that its
consultants, contractors, subcontractors and their employees comply with
this policy. Failure to comply may result in the termination of employment
or contract with Sceney Electrical Pty Ltd.
